i also have this message "update expired" in update version 477. I think one solution is to change date setting but i have other apps on PC that did not support this.

the solution WAS to change the date back, but it seems that it doesn't work anymore. I have tried and tried. I have updated to 480 and it started going crazy. First the fonts get random everytime the program is opened, and then the message "Update Expired" shows up and closes automatically. Also I've noticed the menu bar is gone.
With previous versions prior to 472, the solution to this was to pick a date 1-2 years back and it worked. But now it seems that this doesn't work anymore. It's a real shame. Can anyone post a solution to this? Has anyone found something?
EDIT: Actually just found out the problem. You have to set the date back to before January 2008. Here it is in details:
The problem with mantis and the "Update expired" message is actually pretty easy to solve. Besides the annoying message coming up after a few minutes of working with mantis, the Toolbar gets hidden and the size of the font changes random everytime you start up Mantis.
All you have to do is set the date back prior to January 2008. If you have to keep you date current and still use Mantis on the same machine, you can create a simple batch file (extension bat) and run Mantis through a bat. Create a new file with an extension .bat and put this inside:
