The ECM reprogramming function is only available with the authentic TIS techstream software which runs on the above mentioned scantool. TIS techstream software version requirements are specified in applicable Technical Service Bulletin (TSB)/Service Communication (SC) documents, which can be accessed with a subscription to this website. Older documents may state to use the Diagnostic Tester as being the required tool.
