I'm a bit of a geek, all this getting into diagnostics and coding came about when I worked at Volvo as a Product Specialist, and had a BMW 120d MSport come in with a steering lock fault - very cheap on Part/Ex, bit of coding, I bought it, the ex stole it ... long story!
Anyways, I've "self taught" myself CAN network operations, and then diags/coding for BMW, VAG, PSA, FCA ... still going!
